DIG VR Shifts Gears to November 14th Release Date

Thu 17 Oct, 2024

DIG VR is answering the call to allow players more time to fight crime on the streets of Gotham

Watford UK – 17th October 2024 – Holy Smokes! Late at night, a bat-digger SOS symbol lit up the skies and following discussions between Publisher Wired Productions, Developer Just Add Water, it became clear that someone will need to rebuild the city. That’s where DIG VR, the upcoming light-simulation excavation game, will step in on November 14th. As an act of appreciation for those patiently waiting for the full release of DIG VR, players can pre-order now with a 25% discount incentive prior to launch.

Let’s face it: everyone (including Wired Productions and Just Add Water!) is going to be playing Batman: Arkham Shadow! Therefore it is only right that players are able to dive into the dark and foreboding streets of Gotham safe in the knowledge that, once the city is saved, there’ll be a time and place to put the pieces back together. Ready to satisfy the need to rebuild a city, DIG VR will place players in Diglington where everything can be fixed by the power of a digger.

Check out our special “Ode to the Bat” trailer now:

Capturing the sheer joy, adrenaline and frustrations of life on a digger, DIG VR is an exciting experience for both novices and pros. Starting off with nothing more than a mini-digger and a dream, players will soon pick up the keys to a colossal machine with a diverse set of attachments to overcome the most challenging of jobs. Players will dig, delve, dredge, and discover their love of all things excavational in DIG VR

Key Features:

  • Full career mode campaign with options for both serious and casual players
  • Co-op and competitive multiplayer modes
  • Three quirky mini-games with online leaderboards
  • A stress free, zen-like sandbox mode
  • Master up to 4 Digger Sizes with 7 unique tool heads to attach
  • Unlock over 70 customisation options for your digger, including decal, paint and skins
  • Featuring the first ever dynamic dig-able terrain in VR, which can be dug, moved and dumped.
