FROM EX FALL GUYS & GANG BEASTS DEVS… TASK TIME IS OUT NOW

Thu 16 Apr, 2026

8 contestants enter, 0 friendships remain, and you’ve got 48 hours to play for free!

Watford, UK – 16th April 2026:  Award-winning publisher Wired Productions and indie developer ReadGraves have surprise-launched Task Time, as revealed live during the Galaxies Showcase. The game show inspired, Takeshi’s Castle-fuelled party experience is available right now on PC via Steam and is completely free to play for the first 48 hours as a limited time celebration, following a shadow drop live during the show.

Built to wreck friendships, spark rivalries, and turn every match into total carnage, Task Time is ready for contestants, pitting up to eight players across 6 rounds of unpredictable chaos where alliances are formed, betrayals unfold, and only one Taskling can walk away victorious.

With a “drop it like it’s hot, get your tasks on” attitude, Task Time leans fully into fast, chaotic competition where winning means doing whatever it takes. After the free period ends, Task Time will be available for just $4.95 / £3.96 with the limited time 38% launch discount!

Task Time hits Early Access with a PEAK crossover, letting players unlock the iconic ‘Bing Bong’ character as cosmetics in game. Because if you’re going to ruin friendships, you might as well look good doing it.

In Task Time, up to eight contestants are thrown into a rapid-fire gauntlet of unpredictable, physics-fuelled challenges where winning is only half the game. The real objective is simple: make sure everyone else loses. Drag opponents off platforms, sabotage progress, trigger meltdowns, and turn the easiest tasks into complete disasters in seconds.

Created by (some of) the developers behind genre-defining party games including Fall Guys and Gang Beasts, Task Time takes the formula and pushes it further. Faster. Meaner. Less fair. With hundreds of thousands of possible task combinations, no two matches play out the same. One moment you are in control. The next, everything has collapsed. Just like life, right?

“We didn’t want a traditional launch,” said Leo Zullo, Co-founder and Managing Director at Wired Productions. “Task Time is built on surprise, chaos, and pure mayhem, so it made sense to launch it the same way. Dropping it live and making it free for 48 hours gives players the perfect excuse to jump in, grab some friends, and start ruining relationships immediately.”

“We encourage players to embrace the jank, if only because we’ve made no serious attempt to remove it. The game works best when you meet it halfway.” – said Sam Read-Graves, Creator of ReadGraves.

Players who join during the free period can unlock content and carry their progress forward if they choose to purchase the game once the promotion ends.
