Watford, United Kingdom — July 9, 2024 | Following its recent censorship in Japan, Gori: Cuddly Carnage will now be introducing ‘purple juice’ instead of blood in the console versions in China and Korea.
This additional round of censorships got the teams thinking. With all the blood saved, Wired Productions and Angry Demon Studio decided to donate their blood in the UK and Sweden, in the hope of making a real-world impact and now they’re calling for players to do the same!
Anyone who shares selfies of themselves giving blood on X or Instagram, along with hashtag #GorisGotBlood will feature during the game’s credits as ‘lifesavers’.Those interested in donating blood in the UK can find more details at https://www.blood.co.uk. Players in Sweden can donate here: https://geblod.nu/bli-blodgivare and in the US more information is available here: https://americasblood.org.
Together both teams hope that at least whilst the blood may be gone in China, Korea and Japan, there is plenty in Gori: Cuddly Carnage to help save players’ lives. To celebrate these efforts, the team have created a blood-filled, action-packed trailer (below).
Gori: Cuddly Carnage will launch on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch on August 29th for $21.99, €21.99 and £17.99. Players can pre-order digital versions today via https://wiredproductions.com/games/gori-cuddly-carnage/#where-to-buy.
