Praised for its surreal storytelling, psychological tension, and invoking the works of David Lynch and Hideo Kojima, KARMA: The Dark World has resonated with audiences globally. While the game has seen impressive success in China, it’s also been considered a must-play for Western players seeking a deeply immersive and narrative-driven horror experience.

With the upcoming Filter Mode, Pollard Studios pushes KARMA’s immersion even further, allowing players to experience the game through new, film-inspired visual styles, including:

  • Black and White Mode – Emphasizing the noir-inspired, dreamlike nature of KARMA’s world.
  • Warm Tone Mode
  • Cool Tone Mode

This free update allows players to experience KARMA by embracing its deep cinematic roots while maintaining full interactivity. The update will launch later in April for free, and players can expect even more twists, surprises, and post-launch content on the horizon.

In KARMA: The Dark World, players take on the role of Daniel McGovern, an elite Roam Agent tasked with mind-diving into the memories of suspects. What begins as another routine investigation soon unravels into a dark conspiracy that challenges everything he believes. As McGovern navigates the minds of those he pursues, he must confront disturbing truths and question his own reality. KARMA: The Dark World is available now on SteamPlayStation Store and GOG for $24.99 | €24.99 | £19.99 for the base game and for $34.99 | €34.99 | £29.99 for deluxe version.

KARMA: The Dark World will also launch on Xbox at a later date, with further details to be announced in the coming months.
